Matthews patent-pending Dovetail Cross Plate offers camera professionals greater versatility for camera orientation when mounting on a fluid or gear head. This revolutionary design features the new Cross Plate concept which utilizes a 2-layer swiveling plate design to provide both traditional camera mounting as well as additional 90-degree and 45-degree angles.

• 2-layer design incorporates 2 plates, each with a different finish for easy identification
• 2 screws offer a special angle lock safety design
• Rotating cross plates with internal positioning spring, designed for safe use
• Threaded 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 holes on the plate bottom facilitate dovetail mounting to a tripod Q/R plate or other support
• 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threaded holes feature heli-coil for secure connection
